2009 BLOG
Another year has passed and it's time to get up to date.
2009 was a year of writing music and alot of touring. Matt started the year in the studio with Eric Persing with Spectra Sonics recording bass samples for the new spectra sonics product "Trillion" that was just released in mid October.
Matt released a CD called "Life Of The Party" that features 13 pop songs that Matt produced and played all the instruments except drums. Matt also co-wrote a few songs on the cd with some good friends..
Matt recorded and performed with many artists through out the year. A few of them being Richard Marx, Barry Manilow, his band The Mustard Seeds and The Squirts as well as touring for the 10th year with Rick Springfield.
The Mustard Seeds released their 3rd CD strategically called "The Mustard Seeds 111".
The sad news after Matt's mom Phyllis passed away late in 2008, Matt's dad Bud passed away in October 2009.2010 looks to be a good year.

In the spirit of staying “current” it’s time to update this website(since it’s only been about three years). Matt has continued to tour and record with several artists from Rick Springfield, Joe Satriani, to Boz Skaggs. The Mustard Seeds have finally completed their third cd and is now available at

Matt has been also writing for tv and film, and also seeing a lot of tv and films. So, it’s been a chaotic 2008 but also a good one, and don’t forget that Joshua is now 11 and in need of a college education so keep buying those cd’s. Matt passes on good wishes to all.
2005 BLOG
2005 was another busy year as Matt spent a majority of time on the road. He finished with over 100,000 miles traveled with Joe Satriani as they promoted Joe's latest cd,"Is There Love In Space". The band traveled all through the United States and Canada,South America,Europe,Australia,New Zealand,Japan and finishing in India.
Matt has also been touring with Rick Springfield promoting the " Shock,Denial, Anger,Acceptance" cd as well as Rick's latest cd "The Day After Yesterday".
" The Squirts",Matt's band with fellow members Rodger Carter and George Berhnardt recorded a new cd called "Squirts 2 Resquirted" and opened up for Rick throughout the United States.
Matt also toured with Ringo Starr and the Roundheads on another promo tour for Ringo's newest cd "Choose Love". They also filmed a live DVD that came out on PBS and will be available as a full length DVD sometime this year.
Matt has also been busy writing more music at his home studio, "The Recovery Center" for tv and film.Matt joined forces with his friend Rob Renderer to record a new cd called "Ten By Tuesday" where they both trade off on vocals ala "Coldplay" and "U2".
Other than that he has been at home trying to sleep and rest up for the new year. Matt passes on his thanks for everyone who has been to the website,and a special thanks to all who have purchased his cd's, his son Joshua is 8 years old,but collage is on the horizon so please keep listening,

2004 BLOG
Well another year goes by and we realize we haven’t updated the ole’ website. So here’s a little gander of what went on in 2004,Touring touring touring, Matt played a lot of shows with Joe Satriani, Rick Springfield and Boz Skaggs. Matt just got off a G3 tour with Joe Steve Vai and Robert Fripp in South America, a lot of people got food poisoning but by the grace of God everyone survived. Matt did another G3 tour earlier in the year throughout Europe. Matt also played “An evening with Joe Satriani” throughout the United States and in the summer opened up for “Deep Purple” and also “Thin Lizzy”. Rick Springfield as always kept up the touring pace throughout the United States where “The Squirts” opened up at many of the shows. Matt finished his solo bass instrumental cd “Oh No,Bass Solo” and is now available on the website.
It features his brother Gregg on 6 songs with just bass and drums,(a recipe for disaster) David Demeter plays drums and percussion on “All around the world”, and the song “Bolivia” is cowritten with Robert Fripp and Jeff Campitelli. Also Matt has been in his studio writing a lot of music for tv and film. So that being said, Matt would like to pass on his thank you’s to all the people who have visited the website and a special thanks to all the people who have purchased cd’s throughout the years. Matt is right now laying down in his bathtub floating in one dollar bills, so thanks for the support. God bless you all and have a great Christmas and a joyous New Year.
Archives:Matt played with Ringo Starr and the Roundheads on a mini tour to support his new cd “Ringo Rama” in late March, they played the Jay Leno Show as well as Conan Obrian, Good Morning America, and other New York tv shows.Matt is presently ontour with Boz Skaggs, they are recording a live dvd and cd May 27 that the Great American Music Hall in San Fransisco.Matt has continued his session work for commercials and TV in LA including thenew Sharon Osbourne show.Matt also began recording on Joe Satriani’s cd and is preparing to go on tour with G3 in October.After Matt completed the JoeSatriani tour earlier this year he came home to finally complete the building of his home studio. He immediately produced a couple of local cd’s then recorded 2 of his own cd’s.
Matt also recorded a cd with Rick Springfield and has been going on tour with him with the weekend warriors.
